Volunteer with us!

There are volunteer opportunities with Asian CineVision (ACV) year round and Asian American International Film Festival seasonally. Most of our volunteers are devoted to running our marquee event, the Asian American International Film Festival (AAIFF).

Our work is dedicated to those who love and support Asian, Asian American, and Asian diasporic independent cinema.

Join A Community Of Film Enthusiasts And Social Activists!

Asian CineVision gives volunteers the opportunity to be part of the NYC independent arts scene.

In addition, volunteers will get:

Comp tickets for AAIFF screenings and other ACV events
• Meal and travel stipends
• College credit (for those enrolled at an accredited university)
• A chance to meet new friends and new collaborators!

AAIFF Day-Of Volunteers

The Asian American International Film Festival is supported by a powerhouse of on-site volunteers during our festival days. As a volunteer, there are a few things to note:

• Day-of volunteer positions are UNPAID.

• Shifts are generally a few hours.

• This is a great fit for working professionals and college students who have busy schedules or who are interested in working in film!

ACV and AAIFF Staff

Asian CineVision is a non-profit organization which relies solely on its volunteer staff. These staff members work hard behind the scenes to prepare, organize, and manage all festival operations, spanning the entire festival year.

Please note the following:

• Staff positions are UNPAID (unless otherwise specified).

• Hours vary by position, but staff can generally expect to devote a flexible 15 hours/week during prep/wrap months, and full availability/on-call hours during the days of the festival.

• This is a great fit for working professionals and college students looking to boost their resume or to develop their skills!
